Public notice:
CEO Paul (Tom) Vickers is an enrolled member of the state recognized Georgia
Tribe of Eastern Cherokee GA. Code OCGA 44-12-300 and a voting member of the
National Congress of American Indians. Additionally the Arkansas Band of
Western Cherokee Corporate Charter is comprised of state and federally
recognized Indians.
This entity does accept associate members at no cost. At this point this
does not entail or determine American Indian status at the state or federal
level but associates members with our Arkansas Cherokee history, as
portrayed and copyrighted in our book and web site.

Rules and Regulations:
Indian means an Individual who is a member of a tribe,
band or other organized group of Indians, Including those tribes, bands, or
groups terminated since 1940 and those recognized by the state in which they
reside.
[a] A descendant, in the first degree, of any individual described in
paragraph [a] of this Definition;
[b] Considered by the Secretary of the interior to be an Indian for any
purpose; or
(Indian Education Act, Section 453(a); 20 U.S.C. 1221h(a)
Indian Tribe means any federally or State recognized
Indian tribe ,band, nation, rancheria, Pueblo, Alaska Native Village, or
regional Village corporation as defined in or established under the Alaska
Native Claims Settlement Act (85 stat,688), That exercises the power of self
government.
To clarify a public misconception, we the Arkansas Band
of Western Cherokee are a separate entity from the Western Cherokee of
Arkansas and Missouri, The Lost Cherokee of Arkansas and Missouri, The
Northern Cherokee Nation of Missouri and Arkansas, The Northern Cherokee and
the Sac and White River Band of Chickamauga Cherokee.
